Established in 1866 this is one of the oldest building societies in the UK, with branches and agencies across the East Yorkshire and East Riding districts. Loans are only approved to UK addresses with postcodes beginning HU or YO. (Yorkshire) A variety of mortgage products are available and some allow a borrowing facility of up to 90%. Maximum loans are usually £250,000 but if you opt for a low deposit product your maximum loan will probably be £150,000.
Offset mortgages and interest only options are available and you should check with your advisor about what may be the most suitable mortgage for you.
A Completion Fee will apply to all approved mortgages, the amount due will vary according to the loan you have chosen. Current products include

Beverley Mortgage Products
Standard Variable Rate: Monthly repayments will be based on the Society's Base Interest Rate and be linked to the Bank of England Base Rate. If you pay off the loan in full or move to another product there are no penalty fees.
Discount Rate Mortgage: A discount to the Standard Variable Rate will apply for a period of three years. The maximum loan amount is £250,000 and you will need a minimum 25% deposit. Early repayment of the loan will incur charges but you may overpay by up to 10% of the outstanding loan each year without penalty. At the end of the discount term the loan will switch to a Standard Rate Variable Mortgage.
Variable Rate with Low Deposit: The maximum loan is £150,000 but you can borrow up to 90% of the value of your home. Interest rates will be based upon the Standard Variable Rate and will fluctuate over the term of the loan. Early repayment of the loan will incur charges but you may overpay by up to 10% of the outstanding loan each year without penalty.
