Nat West International
Nat West International is now a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland. It offers mortgages that are suitable for foreign nationals who work in the UK and also UK residents who work abroad but would like to purchase a property in the UK. These products are called 'Buy to Live' mortgages and may not be covered by the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
You may be able to apply for a fixed or variable tracker rate mortgage that covers up to 80% of the property value.
Nat West International Mortgage Products
Fixed rate mortgages: You will benefit from knowing exactly how much your monthly payments will be for the agreed period. You will then switch to a Standard Variable Rate.
Variable Tracker rate mortgages: You will receive a discount from the Society's Standard Variable Rate for the agreed period. Your monthly payment may rise or fall depending upon the Bank of England Base Rate.
